     Hon. Ronald James Duke Coleridge was born on 12 June 1911.¹ He was the son of Geoffrey Duke Coleridge, 3rd Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary and Jessie Alethea Mackarness.² He married Ursula Mary Long, daughter of Reverend William Turner Long, on 9 January 1937.¹ He died in 1972.¹
     Hon. Ronald James Duke Coleridge usually went by his middle name of James.¹

     Ursula Mary Long was the daughter of Reverend William Turner Long.¹ She married Hon. Ronald James Duke Coleridge, son of Geoffrey Duke Coleridge, 3rd Baron Coleridge of Ottery St. Mary and Jessie Alethea Mackarness, on 9 January 1937.¹ She died in 1987.¹

     He was educated at King’s School, Worcestershire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹

     Barbara Jane Dawson is the daughter of Frank Lionel Dawson.² She married Syndercombe James Duke Coleridge, son of Hon. Ronald James Duke Coleridge and Ursula Mary Long, on 12 December 1964.¹ She and Syndercombe James Duke Coleridge were divorced in 1969.¹
     From 12 December 1964, her married name became Coleridge.

     Christina Joanne Coleridge was born in 1965.¹ She is the daughter of Syndercombe James Duke Coleridge and Barbara Jane Dawson.²

     Francis Mathew, 1st Earl of Landaff was born in 1738.² He was the son of Thomas Mathew and Mary Mathews.¹ He married, firstly, Ellis Smyth, daughter of James Smyth and Mary Agar. He married, secondly, Lady Catherine Skeffington, daughter of Clotworthy Skeffington, 1st Earl of Massereene and Anne Eyre, on 7 June 1784.² He died on 30 July 1806.²
     He was created 1st Earl of Landaff [Ireland] in 1797.
