     Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt. was born on 12 March 1829.1 He was the son of Sir William Raymond Codrington, 4th Bt. and Anne Mary de Bonabon.2 He married Mary Roskell, daughter of Robert Roskell, on 12 April 1866.1 He died on 1 March 1904 at age 74.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Codrington, of Dodington, co. Gloucester [G.B, 1721] on 17 December 1873.1

     Mary Roskell was the daughter of Robert Roskell.2 She married Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt., son of Sir William Raymond Codrington, 4th Bt. and Anne Mary de Bonabon, on 12 April 1866.1 She died on 1 September 1915.1
     From 12 April 1866, her married name became Codrington.

Lt.-Col. Sir William Robert Codrington, 6th Bt.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir William Robert Codrington, 6th Bt. was born on 18 April 1867.1 He was the son of Sir William Mary Joseph Codrington, 5th Bt. and Mary Roskell.2 He married Joan Rogers, daughter of Harry Adams Rogers, on 25 April 1903.1 He died on 7 November 1932 at age 65.1
     He fought in the North-West Frontier between 1897 and 1898.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Codrington, of Dodington, co. Gloucester [G.B, 1721] on 1 March 1904.1 He gained the rank of Captain and Brevet Major in the 11th Hussars.1
