     Sylvia Dorothy Meysey-Thompson was the daughter of Arthur Herbert Meysey-Thompson and Horatia Dorothy Williamson.^1,2 She married Captain Aubrey Leo Kennedy, son of Sir John Gordon Kennedy and Evelyn Adela Bootle-Wilbraham, on 12 July 1921.¹ She died on 29 June 1968.¹
     Her married name became Kennedy.

     Arthur Herbert Meysey-Thompson was born on 5 October 1852.² He was the son of Sir Harry Stephen Meysey-Thompson, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Anne Croft.² He married Horatia Dorothy Williamson, daughter of Sir Hedworth Williamson, 8th Bt. and Lady Elizabeth Liddell, on 1 June 1896.² He died on 5 February 1950 at age 97.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Yorkshire Hussars.² He was registered as a Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (M.I.C.E.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.²
