     Elsa Dorothea Marie Schumacher was the daughter of Erwin Albert Schumacher.² She married Sir Ernest Cecil Cochrane, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Henry Cochrane, 1st Bt. and Margaret Gilchrist, on 12 September 1911.¹ She and Sir Ernest Cecil Cochrane, 2nd Bt. were divorced in 1933.¹ She died on 7 June 1966.¹
     From 12 September 1911, her married name became Cochrane.¹

     Major Ernest Henry Cochrane was born on 3 February 1913.¹ He was the son of Sir Ernest Cecil Cochrane, 2nd Bt. and Elsa Dorothea Marie Schumacher.² He died on 21 July 1945 at age 32 at Austria^G, following an accident.¹
     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Inniskilling Fusiliers.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Sir Desmond Oriel Alastair George Weston Cochrane, 3rd Bt. was born on 22 October 1918.¹ He was the son of Sir Ernest Cecil Cochrane, 2nd Bt. and Elsa Dorothea Marie Schumacher.² He married Yvonne Sursock, daughter of Alfred Bey Sursock and Donna Maria Teresa Serra, on 12 January 1946.¹ He died on 12 March 1979 at age 60 at Beyrouth, Lebanon.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1940 in the Lancashire Fusiliers.¹ He was a director of the Royal Bank of Canada Trust Corporation.¹ He was a director of the Banque des Activités Economiques.¹ He was a director of the Trust Corporation of Bahama.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Cochrane of Woodbrook, Old Connaught, Bray, co. Wicklow, Lisgar Castle, Ballieborough, co. Cavan and Kildare Street, Dublin [U.K., 1903] on 6 March 1952.¹

     Elizabeth Margaret Cochrane was born on 20 June 1915.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Ernest Cecil Cochrane, 2nd Bt. and Elsa Dorothea Marie Schumacher.² She married Professor Robert Elsworth Steen, son of David Steen, on 9 September 1939.¹ She died on 27 June 2002 at age 87.¹
     From 9 September 1939, her married name became Steen.

     David Steen lived at Mountsandel, Carrickmines, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     Professor Robert Elsworth Steen was the son of David Steen.² He married Elizabeth Margaret Cochrane, daughter of Sir Ernest Cecil Cochrane, 2nd Bt. and Elsa Dorothea Marie Schumacher, on 9 September 1939.¹ He died in 1981.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (F.R.C.P.I.)¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹

     David Michael Cochrane Elsworth Steen was born on 5 March 1945.¹ He is the son of Professor Robert Elsworth Steen and Elizabeth Margaret Cochrane.² He married Rosemary Florence Dobbs, daughter of Major William Bellingham Denis Dobbs and Norah Vestey, on 18 December 1971.¹
     David Michael Cochrane Elsworth Steen usually went by his middle name of Michael.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was registered as a Associate, Royal College of Music (A.R.C.M.)¹ He graduated from Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He wrote the book Guide to Directors Transactions, published 1983.¹ He wrote the book Audits and Auditors – What the Public Thinks, published 1989.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Institute of Chartered Accountants (F.C.A.)¹ He lived in 2003 at Neville’s Mattingley, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Major William Bellingham Denis Dobbs was born on 23 November 1908 at Arbourfield, Dundrum, County Dublin, Ireland.² He was the son of William Bellingham Dobbs and Florence May Sealy.^3,2 He married Norah Vestey, daughter of Hon. George Ellis Vestey and Florence May Webster, on 7 March 1944.³ He died in 1982.³
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Ulster Rifles.³
