Sir Charles Vyner de Windt Brooke1 

Sir Charles Vyner de Windt Brooke was born on 26 September 1874.1 He was the son of Sir Charles Anthony Johnson-Brooke and Margaret Alice Lili de Windt.1 He married Hon. Sylvia Leonora Brett, daughter of Reginald Baliol Brett, 2nd Viscount Esher and Eleanor Frances Weston Van de Weyer, on 21 February 1911 at England.1 He died on 9 May 1963 at age 88 at 13 Albion Street, Bayswater, London, EnglandG.1
He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant between 1911 and 1913 in the 3rd County of London Yeomanry.2 He succeeded as the HH The Rajah of Sarawak in 1917.3 He held the office of Rajah of Sarawak between 1917 and 1 July 1946.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1927.1
