     From 1759, her married name became Lawrence.¹

     Anthony Rowse lived at Illogan, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Mary Tonkin was the daughter of John Tonkin.¹ She married Thomas Lawrence, son of Thomas Lawrence and Jane Rowse, on 1 April 1788.¹ She died on 12 April 1850.¹
     From 1 April 1788, her married name became Lawrence.¹

     John Tonkin lived at St. Agnes, Cornwall, England^G.¹

     Jane Clarke was the daughter of James Clarke.¹ She married William Lawrence, son of Thomas Lawrence and Mary Tonkin, on 21 September 1817.¹ She died on 14 February 1874.¹
     From 21 September 1817, her married name became Lawrence.¹

     James Clarke lived at Wymeswold, Lougborough, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

     Sir William Lawrence was born on 2 September 1818.¹ He was the son of William Lawrence and Jane Clarke.¹ He died on 18 April 1897 at age 78, unmarried.¹

     Sir James Clarke Lawrence, 1st and last Bt. was born on 1 September 1820.¹ He was the son of William Lawrence and Jane Clarke.¹ He married Agnes Harriette Castle, daughter of Michael Castle, on 17 March 1887.¹ He died on 21 May 1897 at age 76.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.¹ He held the office of Alderman of London in 1860.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Middlesex.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the City of Westminster.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of London and Middlesex in 1862.¹ He held the office of Lord Mayor of London between 1868 and 1869.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lambeth between 1868 and 1885.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Lawrence [U.K.] on 16 December 1869.¹ On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹
