     Lt.-Col. Robert Anderson Ramsay was born on 5 February 1820.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Hon. John Ramsay and Mary Delise.¹ He died on 5 November 1897 at age 77, unmarried.¹

     Anne Finlay Anderson Ramsay was born on 9 February 1815.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. John Ramsay and Mary Delise.¹ She married Colonel David Ewart on 15 June 1848.¹ She died on 13 May 1891 at age 76.¹
     From 15 June 1848, her married name became Ewart.¹

     Colonel David Ewart married Anne Finlay Anderson Ramsay, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hon. John Ramsay and Mary Delise, on 15 June 1848.¹ He died in 1880.¹
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Bengal Artillery.¹

     Lieutenant George Spottiswoode Ramsay was born on 29 October 1848.¹ He was the son of Admiral George Ramsay, 12th Earl of Dalhousie and Sarah Frances Robertson.¹ He died in 1873.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Arthur Dalhousie Ramsay was born on 6 July 1854.¹ He was the son of Admiral George Ramsay, 12th Earl of Dalhousie and Sarah Frances Robertson.¹ He died on 5 December 1857 at age 3.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Charles Maule Ramsay was born on 29 January 1859.¹ He was the son of Admiral George Ramsay, 12th Earl of Dalhousie and Sarah Frances Robertson.¹ He married Martha Estelle Garrison, daughter of William R. Garrison, on 28 May 1885.¹ He died on 7 April 1936 at age 77, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was Lieutenant-Colonel of the Forfar and Kincardine Artillery.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Forfar.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Forfar between 1894 and 1895.¹

     Martha Estelle Garrison is the daughter of William R. Garrison.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Hon. Charles Maule Ramsay, son of Admiral George Ramsay, 12th Earl of Dalhousie and Sarah Frances Robertson, on 28 May 1885.¹
     From 28 May 1885, her married name became Ramsay.¹

     William R. Garrison lived at New York, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Dorothy Cynthia Surtees was born in 1890 at Fulham, London, England.² She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Sir Herbert Conyers Surtees and Madeleine Augusta Crabb.^1,2 She married, firstly, Christopher Cecil Tower on 15 April 1913 at Eaton Square, London, England.¹ She married, secondly, Hon. Sir Patrick William Maule Ramsay, son of John William Ramsay, 13th Earl of Dalhousie and Lady Ida Louisa Bennet, on 15 October 1917.¹ She died on 5 October 1957 at Estoril, Portugal.¹
     From 15 April 1913, her married name became Tower.¹ From 15 October 1917, her married name became Ramsay.¹
