Sir Frederick William Leith-Ross1 
He was educated at Merchant Taylors’ School, London, England.2 He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1925.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1930.2 He was chief economic advisor to the government in March 1932.2 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1933.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1937.1 He was Director-General of the Ministry of Economic Warfare in 1939.2 He was governor of the National Bank of Egypt between March 1946 and 1951.2
