     Sir Frederick William Leith-Ross was born on 4 February 1887 at Mauritius.² He was the son of Frederick William Arbuthnot Leith-Ross and Sina van Houten.² He married Prudence Staples, daughter of R. J. Staples, in 1912.² He died on 22 August 1968 at age 81 at St. Olave’s, Ramsey, Isle of Man.²
     He was educated at Merchant Taylors’ School, London, England.² He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1925.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1930.² He was chief economic advisor to the government in March 1932.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1933.¹ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in 1937.¹ He was Director-General of the Ministry of Economic Warfare in 1939.² He was governor of the National Bank of Egypt between March 1946 and 1951.²

     Prudence Leith-Ross was born in 1922.² She was the daughter of Sir Frederick William Leith-Ross and Prudence Staples.^3,4 She married Sir John Edmund Cradock-Hartopp, 9th Bt., son of Francis Gerald Cradock-Hartopp and Elizabeth Ada Mary Stuart, on 29 April 1953.¹ She died on 28 June 2016.⁵
     From 29 April 1953, her married name became Cradock-Hartopp. She lived in 1999 at The Cottage, 27 Wool Road, London, England^G.¹

     Melinda Anne Cradock-Hartopp was born on 17 February 1954.¹ She is the daughter of Sir John Edmund Cradock-Hartopp, 9th Bt. and Prudence Leith-Ross.² She married Murray Lewis, son of Reverend Raymond Lewis, in 1984.¹
     From 1984, her married name became Lewis.

     Reverend Raymond Lewis lived at East Dean, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Murray Lewis is the son of Reverend Raymond Lewis.² He married Melinda Anne Cradock-Hartopp, daughter of Sir John Edmund Cradock-Hartopp, 9th Bt. and Prudence Leith-Ross, in 1984.¹

     Jonathan Murray Lewis was born in 1988.¹ He is the son of Murray Lewis and Melinda Anne Cradock-Hartopp.²

     Katherine Lewis was born in 1990.¹ She is the daughter of Murray Lewis and Melinda Anne Cradock-Hartopp.²

     Nicola Jane Cradock-Hartopp was born on 20 January 1957.¹ She is the daughter of Sir John Edmund Cradock-Hartopp, 9th Bt. and Prudence Leith-Ross.²

     Joanna Elizabeth Cradock-Hartopp was born on 20 January 1960.¹ She is the daughter of Sir John Edmund Cradock-Hartopp, 9th Bt. and Prudence Leith-Ross.² She married Michael Victor Charter, son of Victor Noël Charter, in 1985.¹
     From 1985, her married name became Charter.
