     Richard Jowitt was born circa 1661.¹ He married Tabitha Hopwood on 6 July 1692.² He died in 1697.²

     From 18 April 1747, her married name became Jowitt.¹

     Cynthia Pamela Mary Bowman was born on 22 October 1918.¹ She is the daughter of Major Humphrey Ernest Bowman and Frances Guinevere Armytage.² She married, firstly, Rear-Admiral Josef Czeslaw Bartosik, son of Thomas Bartosik, on 19 November 1943.¹ She and Rear-Admiral Josef Czeslaw Bartosik were divorced in 1969.¹ She married, secondly, Vice-Admiral Sir Roderick Douglas Macdonald on 17 October 1980.¹
     From 19 November 1943, her married name became Bartosik. From 17 October 1980, her married name became Macdonald.¹ She lived in 2003 Ollach, Braes, Isle of Skye.¹

     Jan Jozef Bartosik was born on 2 August 1946.¹ He was the son of Rear-Admiral Josef Czeslaw Bartosik and Cynthia Pamela Mary Bowman.² He married Lesley Anne Meehan, daughter of Dr. J. Meehan, in 1978.¹ He died in April 2002 at age 55.¹
