     Sir Isaac Holden, 1st Bt. was born on 7 May 1807.² He was the son of Isaac Holden and Mary Forest.¹ He married, firstly, Marion Love, daughter of Angus Love, on 6 April 1832.¹ He married, secondly, Sarah Sugden, daughter of John Sugden, on 5 April 1850.¹ He died on 13 August 1897 at age 90.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Knaresborough between 1865 and 1868.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for the West Riding, Yorkshire, North Division between 1882 and 1885.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Keighley between 1885 and 1895.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the West Riding, Yorkshire.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire.² He was created 1st Baronet Holden, of Oakworth House, Keighley, co. York [U.K.] on 1 July 1893.¹

     Isaac Holden married Mary Forest.¹ He died in 1826.¹

     Marion Love was the daughter of Angus Love.² She married Sir Isaac Holden, 1st Bt., son of Isaac Holden and Mary Forest, on 6 April 1832.¹ She died on 4 April 1847.¹
     From 6 April 1832, her married name became Holden.¹

     Edward Holden was born on 14 January 1835.² He was the son of Sir Isaac Holden, 1st Bt. and Marion Love.¹ He married Maria Elizabeth Wood, daughter of Peter Wood, on 3 December 1863.² He died on 11 October 1913 at age 78.²
     He lived at Lynwood, Park Avenue, Southport, Lancashire, England.²

     Sir Isaac Holden, 5th Bt. was born on 8 July 1867.² He was the son of Edward Holden and Maria Elizabeth Wood.^1,3 He married, firstly, Marian Keevney, daughter of Peter A. Keevney, on 7 June 1905.² He married, secondly, Alice Adna Byrom, daughter of George F. Byrom, in 1913.² He died on 5 January 1962 at age 94.²
     He was educated at Leys School, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He graduated from Christ’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire in 1909.² He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Holden, of Oakworth House, Keighley, co. York [U.K., 1893] on 6 July 1951.¹

     Sarah Sugden was the daughter of John Sugden.¹ She married Sir Isaac Holden, 1st Bt., son of Isaac Holden and Mary Forest, on 5 April 1850.¹ She died on 3 May 1890.¹
     From 5 April 1850, her married name became Holden.¹

     John Sugden lived at Dockroyd, Keighley, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.¹

     Margaret Illingworth is the daughter of Daniel Illingworth.¹ She married Angus Holden, 1st Baron Holden, son of Sir Isaac Holden, 1st Bt. and Marion Love, on 23 May 1860.² She died on 24 April 1913.²
     From 23 May 1860, her married name became Holden.¹ After her marriage, Margaret Illingworth was styled as Baroness Holden on 4 July 1908.

     Alice Adna Byrom was the daughter of George F. Byrom.¹ She married Sir Isaac Holden, 5th Bt., son of Edward Holden and Maria Elizabeth Wood, in 1913.¹ She died on 13 January 1971.¹
     Alice Adna Byrom usually went by her middle name of Edna.¹ From 1913, her married name became Holden.¹
