He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Frankfort de Montmorency [I., 1816] on 21 September 1822.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Frankfort of Galmoye, co. Kilkenny [I., 1800] on 21 September 1822.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 10th Hussars.2

He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1889.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Frankfort of Galmoye, co. Kilkenny [I., 1800] on 25 December 1889.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Frankfort de Montmorency [I., 1816] on 25 December 1889.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1898.2 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 4th London Rifles.2 He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1900 and 1902.1

He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) although there is no mention of this award in Arthur’s Symbol of Courage.1 He fought in the Sudan Campaign in 1898, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 21st Lancers.2 He fought in the Boer War.1

He gained the rank of Captain in the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry.1 He fought in the Burma Campaign between 1891 and 1892.1 He fought in the Tirah Campaign between 1897 and 1898.1 He fought in the Nile Expedition in 1899.1 He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Frankfort de Montmorency [I., 1816] on 7 May 1902.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baron Frankfort of Galmoye, co. Kilkenny [I., 1800] on 7 May 1902.1
On his death, his titles became extinct.1
