From 3 May 1860, her married name became FitzGerald.3 On 25 September 1860 she was granted the rank of a viscount’s daughter.1 After her marriage, Hon. Jane Mary Matilda Southwell was styled as Baroness FitzGerald of Kilmarnock on 23 June 1882.
