     Frances Lone was the daughter of Thomas Lone.¹ She married Thomas Gooch, son of William Gooch and Elizabeth Baspole.¹ She died on 25 July 1696.¹
     Her married name became Gooch.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Sir William Gooch, 1st Bt. was born on 12 October 1681.¹ He was the son of Thomas Gooch and Frances Lone.¹ He married Rebecca Stanton, daughter of William Stanton.² He died in 1751, without issue.¹
     He held the office of War of Spanish Succession.² He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Virginia in 1727.² He gained the rank of Colonel in 1740 in the American Regiment.² He was created 1st Baronet Gooch, of Benacre Hall, Suffolk [Great Britain] on 4 November 1746, with special remainder in default of male issue to his brother and the latter’s issue male.²

     William Gooch was the son of William Gooch and Martha Layer.² He married Elizabeth Baspole, daughter of Richard Baspole and Margaret Flower.¹ He died in 1685.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived in 1664 at Mettingham, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Baspole is the daughter of Richard Baspole and Margaret Flower.¹ She married William Gooch, son of William Gooch and Martha Layer.¹ She married Francis Gooch.¹
     Her married name became Gooch.¹
