     Elizabeth Jane Oakes was the daughter of Reverend James Oakes and Elizabeth Tyrell.^2,3 She married Hon. Sir Henry Leslie, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Lucas Pepys, 1st Bt. and Jane Elizabeth Leslie, Countess of Rothes, on 15 February 1816.¹ She died on 12 December 1816.¹
     From 15 February 1816, her married name became Pepys.

     Imogen O’Rorke is the daughter of Richard O’Rorke.¹

     Owen O’Rorke is the son of Richard O’Rorke.¹

     Thomas Pepys was born circa 1565 at Cottenham, Chesterton, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He was the son of John Pepys and Edith Talbot.³ He married, firstly, Francis Moore on 11 October 1587.² He and Maria Day obtained a marriage license on 8 July 1596.¹
     He had two other sons and two daughters.¹

     She lived at Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ From circa 8 July 1596, her married name became Pepys.

     John Pepys was baptised on 14 January 1600/1 at Impington, Northstow, Cambridgeshire, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas Pepys and Maria Day.³ He married Margaret Kite on 15 October 1626 at Newington, Brixton, Surrey, England^G.^1,2 He died before 19 October 1680.¹
     He was a tailor.¹ He lived at Brampton, Huntingdonshire, England^G.¹

     Margaret Kite was born circa 1606.³ She married John Pepys, son of Thomas Pepys and Maria Day, on 15 October 1626 at Newington, Brixton, Surrey, England^G.^1,3 She died on 25 March 1667.¹
     She was a maid.² From 15 October 1626, her married name became Pepys.

     Samuel Pepys was born on 23 February 1632.¹ He was the son of John Pepys and Margaret Kite.³ He married Elizabeth de Saint Michel, daughter of Alexander Merchant de Saint Michel, on 10 October 1655.¹ He died on 26 May 1703 at age 71, without issue.¹
     He was educated at St. Paul’s School, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Magdalene College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He wrote the book Pepys’s Diary.¹ He lived at Brampton, Huntingdonshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Castle Rising in 1673.¹ He held the office of Secretary of the Admiralty in 1684.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Harwich in 1685.¹

     Elizabeth de Saint Michel was the daughter of Alexander Merchant de Saint Michel.² She married Samuel Pepys, son of John Pepys and Margaret Kite, on 10 October 1655.¹ She died on 10 November 1669.¹
     From 10 October 1655, her married name became Pepys.
