     She graduated from Stellenbosch University, Stellenbosch, Cape Province, South Africa^G, in 1953 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ Her married name became Oliphant. She lived in 1999 at White Lodge, Startley, Chippenham, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Major Jonathan Beresford Oliphant was born on 18 January 1931.² He was the son of Reverend Donald Aden Oliphant and Jocelyn Hope Young.^1,2 He married Jean Evelyn Louise Murray, daughter of Arthur Evelyn Francis Murray and Louise Isabelle Delacombe, on 7 February 1959.¹ He died on 30 September 2010 at age 79.³
     He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.⁴ He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England^G.⁴ He gained the rank of Major in the 7th Duke of Edinburgh’s Own Gurkha Rifles.^1,2 He lived in 2003 at Cherrington Barn, Chirton, Devizes, Wiltshire, England^G.⁴

     Reverend Donald Aden Oliphant was born on 3 October 1891.² He was the son of Reverend Frederick James Oliphant and Constance Beresford.² He married Jocelyn Hope Young, daughter of Major Francis Henry Young, on 12 July 1927.² He died on 25 February 1963 at age 71.²
