     John Russell Villiers was born on 15 January 1866.¹ He was the son of Reverend Henry Montagu Villiers and Lady Victoria Russell.² He married Grace Elizabeth Earle, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Earle and Mary Codrington, on 19 April 1893.¹ He died on 6 February 1958 at age 92.¹

     Maj.-Gen. William Earle was born on 18 May 1833.² He was the son of Sir Hardman Earle, 1st Bt. and Mary Langton.² He married Mary Codrington, daughter of General Sir William John Codrington and Mary Ames, on 21 July 1864.² He died on 10 February 1885 at age 51 at Kirbekan, Sudan^G, killed.²
     He fought in the Crimean War.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)² He fought in the Egyptian Campaign, commanding the River Column, Nile Expedition.² He gained the rank of Major-General in the Grenadier Guards.²

     Grace Elizabeth Earle was born circa 1869.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Earle and Mary Codrington.² She married John Russell Villiers, son of Reverend Henry Montagu Villiers and Lady Victoria Russell, on 19 April 1893.¹ She died on 31 May 1962.¹
     From 19 April 1893, her married name became Villiers.

     Arthur Henry Villiers was born on 27 March 1894.¹ He was the son of John Russell Villiers and Grace Elizabeth Earle.² He married Vera Adeline Howe, daughter of Charles Howe, on 6 October 1919.¹ He died on 6 September 1975 at age 81.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 6th Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹

     Charles Howe lived at Durban, Natal, South Africa^G.¹

     Vera Adeline Howe was the daughter of Charles Howe.² She married Arthur Henry Villiers, son of John Russell Villiers and Grace Elizabeth Earle, on 6 October 1919.¹ She died in 1976.¹
     From 6 October 1919, her married name became Villiers.

     Peter William Villiers was born on 26 January 1922.¹ He was the son of Arthur Henry Villiers and Vera Adeline Howe.² He married, firstly, Juneica Friedhoff, daughter of William Friedhoff, on 17 November 1945.¹ He and Juneica Friedhoff were divorced in 1958.¹ He married, secondly, Alice Startup in 1959.¹ He died on 2 June 2009 at age 87.³
     He was educated at Lancing College, Lancing, Sussex, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He was an electrical engineer and film producer.¹

     Juneica Friedhoff is the daughter of William Friedhoff.¹ She married Peter William Villiers, son of Arthur Henry Villiers and Vera Adeline Howe, on 17 November 1945.¹ She and Peter William Villiers were divorced in 1958.¹
     From 17 November 1945, her married name became Villiers.

     Roger Peter Villiers was born in 1946.¹ He is the son of Peter William Villiers and Juneica Friedhoff.² He married Julia Helen Rymer, daughter of A. S. Rymer, in 1975.¹
