John Murray, 11th Duke of Atholl was born on 19 January 1929.1 He was the son of Major George Murray and Joan Eastwood.1 He married Margaret Yvonne Leach, daughter of Ronald Leonard Leach, on 15 December 1956.1 He died on 15 May 2012 at age 83 at South Africa.2
