     Maria d‘Este, Principessa di Modena was born on 8 December 1644.1 She was the daughter of Francesco I d‘Este, Duca di Modena and Mary Farnese.1 She married Rainuzzio II Farnese, Duca di Parma, son of Odoardo Farnese, Duca di Parma and Margherita de Medici, on 1 October 1668.1 She died on 20 August 1684 at age 39.1
     She gained the title of Principessa di Modena.1
