Katherine Salkeld1 
The eldest of Sir Richard Salkeld’s five daughters and coheirs. Subsequent to the death of her husband, Sir Christopher Curwen, Katherine claimed to have had eight children by him, but Isabella is the only one of whom we have a record.1 Her married name became Curwen.1
