Sir George Chalmers, 4th Bt.1 
He was styled as 4th Baronet Chalmers, of Cults, in the parish of Tarland, co. Aberdeen [N.S., 1664] circa 1764.1 He was a portrait painter, exhibiting at the Royal Academy between 1775 and 1790.1

He was styled as 5th Baronet Chalmers, of Cults, in the parish of Tarland, co. Aberdeen [N.S., 1664] in November 1791.1 He was commander of the the Alexander Lazaretto, stationed at the Motherbank.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Marines.1
