     Very Rev. Charles Massy was born in 1688.² He was the son of Hugh Massy and Amy Benson.³ He married Grace Dillon, daughter of Sir John Dillon, in 1731.² He died in June 1766 at Doonass, County Clare, Ireland^G.⁴
     He held the office of Dean of Limerick between 1740 and 1766.^3,4 He lived at Doonass, County Clare, Ireland^G.⁵ He had one other child.³

     Philip Peveril John Wodehouse was born on 26 September 1877.² He was the son of Henry Ernest Wodehouse and Eleanor Deane.² He married Laura Gertrude Massy, daughter of Reverend Xavier Peel Massy and Harriet Emily Hurlstone, on 6 October 1920.¹ He died on 26 November 1951 at age 74, without issue.²
     He was Hong Kong Civil Service between 1897 and 1932.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1919.²

     Penelope Westropp was born on 15 March 1779.¹ She was the daughter of Michael Roberts Westropp and Jane Godsell.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Nathaniel William Massey, 2nd Baron Clarina of Elm Park, son of General Eyre Massey, 1st Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Catherine Clements, on 29 May 1796.¹ She died on 26 November 1843 at age 64.¹ She was buried at Vermont, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹
     From 29 May 1796, her married name became Massey.¹ After her marriage, Penelope Westropp was styled as Baroness Clarina of Elm Park on 17 March 1804.

     Michael Roberts Westropp was born in 1737.² He was the son of Randall Westropp and Peniel Becher.² He married Jane Godsell, daughter of Amos Godsell and Grace Carlton, in 1773.³ He died on 23 February 1830.²
     He gained the rank of Ensign in the Royal Irish Regiment.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 63rd Regiment.² He gained the rank of Captain in the 78th Regiment.² He served in America and West Indies.³ He held the office of Sheriff of Cork in 1775.³ He gained the rank of Major in 1782 in the Cork True Blues.³ He held the office of Mayor of Cork in 1801.³ He was Commandant of the Cork Volunteers in 1803.³ He lived at County Cork, Ireland^G.¹

     Jane Godsell was the daughter of Amos Godsell and Grace Carlton.^1,2 She married Michael Roberts Westropp, son of Randall Westropp and Peniel Becher, in 1773.³ She died on 4 May 1819.³
     From 1773, her married name became Westropp.²

     Eyre Massey, 3rd Baron Clarina of Elm Park was born on 6 May 1798 at County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Nathaniel William Massey, 2nd Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Penelope Westropp.¹ He married Susan Elizabeth Barton, daughter of Hugh Barton and Anne Johnston, on 9 September 1828 at Battle, Sussex, England^G.¹ He died on 18 November 1872 at age 74 at Elm Park, Clarina, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹ He died on 18 November 1872 at age 74.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Clarina of Elm Park, co. Limerick [I., 1800] in January 1810.¹ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 30 January 1816.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 20 February 1819 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He held the office of Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1849 and 1872.¹

     Susan Elizabeth Barton was born circa 1810.¹ She was the daughter of Hugh Barton and Anne Johnston.¹ She married Eyre Massey, 3rd Baron Clarina of Elm Park, son of Maj.-Gen. Nathaniel William Massey, 2nd Baron Clarina of Elm Park and Penelope Westropp, on 9 September 1828 at Battle, Sussex, England^G.¹ She died on 14 November 1886 at Elm Park, Clarina, County Limerick, Ireland^G.¹
     After her marriage, Susan Elizabeth Barton was styled as Baroness Clarina of Elm Park on 9 September 1828. From 9 September 1828, her married name became Massey.¹

     Elizabeth Shoppee was born in 1820.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Shoppee and Phoebe Biggs.¹ She married George Noke.¹ She died in 1903.¹
