Aberdeen [U.K., 1936] on 23 August 1959.1 He was a director of News International plc between 1969 and 1996.1 He was chief executive of Morgan Grenfell Group plc between 1973 and 1974.1 He was chairman of Morgan Grenfell Group plc between 1973 and 1979.1 He was a director of Times Newspapers Holdings between 1981 and 2001.1
