     Georgina Rebecca Judge was the daughter of Canon unknown Judge.² She married Charles Paget Carmichael, son of David Scott Carmichael Smyth and Anne Sherwood, on 8 November 1853.¹ She died on 23 March 1884.¹
     From 8 November 1853, her married name became Carmichael.¹

     Sir James Forrest Halkett Carmichael was born on 8 July 1868.² He was the son of Charles Paget Carmichael and Georgina Rebecca Judge.² He married Winifred Mary Row, daughter of Reverend J. M. Webster Row, in 1908.² He died on 12 August 1934 at age 66, without issue.²
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He was commissioned in 1887, in the service of the Royal Engineers and served in India, Aden, Sonaliland and Burma (1889-90), in Chin Hill Expedition (1893) War Office 1900-3, Ordnance Survey 1903-4, joined Staff.² He fought in the Tiral Expedition between 1897 and 1898.² He was 4th Crown Agent for Colonies and Engineer-in-Chief.² As Heir of the House of Carmichael he claimed unsuccessfully the dormant titles of the Earl of Hyndford.² He held the position of 28th Chief of the Name and Arms of Carmichael from on 8 September 1915.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.² He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour in 1919.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1920.² He was registered as a Member, Insititute of Civil Engineers (M.Inst.C.E.)² He was appointed Knight Bachelor in 1929.²

     George Gawler Irving Carmichael was born on 23 June 1870.¹ He was the son of Charles Paget Carmichael and Georgina Rebecca Judge.² He died on 23 June 1905 at age 35, unmarried.¹
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Gloucester Regiment and India SC.¹

     Constance Carmichael was born on 10 September 1856.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Paget Carmichael and Georgina Rebecca Judge.² She married Reverend E. Jermyn on 8 October 1878.¹
     From 8 October 1878, her married name became Jermyn.¹

     Reverend E. Jermyn married Constance Carmichael, daughter of Charles Paget Carmichael and Georgina Rebecca Judge, on 8 October 1878.¹

     Gertrude Wilson Carmichael was born on 14 December 1861.¹ He was the son of Charles Paget Carmichael and Georgina Rebecca Judge.²

     Mary Adelaide Carmichael was born on 8 December 1863.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Paget Carmichael and Georgina Rebecca Judge.² She died on 22 January 1943 at age 79.¹

     David Freemantle Carmichael was born on 13 October 1830.¹ He was the son of David Scott Carmichael Smyth and Anne Sherwood.² He married, firstly, Jane Theophila Gee, daughter of Robert Gee.¹ He married, secondly, Sarah Margaret Truelock, daughter of Venerable George Truelock, on 27 September 1876.¹ He died on 30 September 1903 at age 72.¹
     He was given the name of David Freemantle Carmichael Smyth at birth.² He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ His name was legally changed to David Freemantle Carmichael by Royal Licence.² He held the office of Senior Member of the Council of Madras.¹
     He had three daughters by his first wife.¹
