     William Hore was the son of Colonel William Hore and Catherine Shapland.² He married, firstly, Hon. Dorothy Ponsonby, daughter of William Ponsonby, 1st Viscount Duncannon and Mary Moore.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Grogan, daughter of John Grogan, on 29 August 1743.¹ He died in February 1745.¹
     He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Law (D.C.L.)¹ He lived at Harperstown, Taghmon, County Wexford, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taghmon between 1727 and 1731.¹ He held the office of Attorney-General [Ireland].¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taghmon between 1741 and 1745.¹

     Joan Hay was the daughter of Thomas D. Hay.² She married Sir Malcolm Rognvald Innes, 16th of Edingight, son of Sir Thomas Innes, 7th of Learney and Lady Lucy Buchan, on 19 October 1963.² She died on 22 November 2013.³

     Hon. Dorothy Ponsonby is the daughter of William Ponsonby, 1st Viscount Duncannon and Mary Moore.² She married William Hore, son of Colonel William Hore and Catherine Shapland.¹

     Mary Grogan is the daughter of John Grogan.² She married, fourthly, Sir George Ribton, 2nd Bt. She married, firstly, Major Andrew Knox, son of Andrew Knox, before 1743.¹ She married, secondly, William Hore, son of Colonel William Hore and Catherine Shapland, on 29 August 1743.¹ She married, thirdly, Charles Tottenham in 1746.¹
     Her married name became Ribton. From before 1743, her married name became Knox.¹ From 29 August 1743, her married name became Hore. From after 1745, her married name became Tottenham.¹

     Walter Hore was the son of William Hore and Hon. Dorothy Ponsonby.² He married Lady Anne Stopford, daughter of James Stopford, 1st Earl of Courtown, on 28 May 1758.¹ He died on 27 February 1795.¹
     He lived at Harperstown, Taghmon, County Wexford, Ireland^G.¹ He held the office of Attorney-General [Ireland].¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Wexford Yeomanry.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Taghmon.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Wexford in 1793.¹
