     From 13 August 1590, her married name became Hume.¹

     John Hume of Huttonhall, younger married Elizabeth Carmichael, daughter of Sir John Carmichael of that Ilk and Margaret Douglas, on 13 August 1590.¹

     Archibald Carmichael was the son of John Carmichael of that Ilk and Elizabeth Somerville.¹ He married Jonet Hume, daughter of George Hume of Edrom.¹ He died before 14 May 1635.¹
     He lived at Edrom, Berwickshire, Scotland^G.¹ In 1566 he was a joint murderer of David Rizzo.¹

     Jonet Hume is the daughter of George Hume of Edrom.¹ She married Archibald Carmichael, son of John Carmichael of that Ilk and Elizabeth Somerville.¹
     Her married name became Carmichael.¹

     Henry Carmichael was the son of Archibald Carmichael and Jonet Hume.¹ He died after 24 May 1679, without issue.¹
