He lived circa 1650 at Templemore, County Tipperary, IrelandG.1 In 1704 he purchased from the Earl of Arran some 3,000 acres of land ‘together with a Mill and the profits of a fair, all being parcels of the lordship of Templemore’, which land he had previosuly leased for some time.2
