     He graduated with a a diploma.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 2003 for work in Basra.²

     Miranda Ann Louise Creswell was born on 27 June 1963.¹ She is the daughter of Simon Hawkshaw Creswell and Sarah Stanley.¹ She married Roderick Duncan Carnegie on 7 February 1994.^2,1
     From 7 February 1994, her married name became Carnegie.² She was a painter.²

     Sophia Alice Chrystal Creswell was born on 21 March 1969.¹ She is the daughter of Simon Hawkshaw Creswell and Sarah Stanley.¹
     She was a novellist.²

     Grizel Sophie MacEwen was the daughter of Air Vice-Marshal Sir Norman Duckworth Kerr MacEwen.¹ She married, firstly, Major Humphrey Hugh Sykes, son of Major Herbert Rushton Sykes and Hon. Constance Harriet Georgina Skeffington, in 1936.² She married, secondly, Major Henry Ferdinand Stanley, son of Brig.-Gen. Hon. Ferdinand Charles Stanley and Hon. Alexandra Frances Anne Fellowes, on 1 February 1949.¹ She and Major Humphrey Hugh Sykes were divorced in 1948.² She died on 6 June 2001 at Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.³
     From 1936, her married name became Sykes.² Her married name became Stanley.

     Air Vice-Marshal Sir Norman Duckworth Kerr MacEwen was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Hook House, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England^G.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He gained the rank of Air Vice-Marshall|Royal Air Force.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Lieutenant Frederick John Gore was born in 1879.¹ He was the son of Richard Frederick John Gore and Susan Jane Stephenson.¹ He married Constance Victoria Paul, daughter of William Somerville Paul, in 1918.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Australian Reserve Officers.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Mark Marion Weaver was born on 13 September 1960.¹ He is the son of Malcolm Weaver and Constance Mary Stanley.¹

     Major David William Stanley was born on 9 August 1906.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Frederick William Stanley and Lady Alexandra Louise Elizabeth Acheson.¹ He married Marjorie Homan, daughter of Douglas Knox Homan, on 5 June 1937.¹ He died on 14 January 1997 at age 90.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in the Middle East, North Africa and Italy.¹
