He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Byrne, of Timogue, Queen’s County [I., 1671] on 12 February 1770.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, in 1784 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Yarmouth between 1790 and 1796.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Heytesbury between 1796 and 1802.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Cheshire between 1804 and 1805.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stockbridge between January 1807 and April 1807.1 He was created 1st Baron de Tabley of Tabley House, co. Chester [U.K.] on 10 July 1826.1
