Sir Robert John Buxton, 1st Bt. was born on 27 October 1753 at Rushford, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was the son of John Buxton and Elizabeth Jacob.1 He married Juliana Mary Beevor, daughter of Sir Thomas Beevor, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Branthwaite, on 22 May 1777 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 7 June 1839 at age 85 at Shadwell Lodge, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate) in July 1839.1
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Thetford between 1790 and 1796.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Great Bedwyn between December 1797 and 1806.1 He was created 1st Baronet Buxton, of Shadwell Lodge, co. Norfolk [Great Britain] on 25 November 1800.1

Sir John Jacob Buxton, 2nd Bt. was born on 13 August 1788 at Norwich, Norfolk, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Robert John Buxton, 1st Bt. and Juliana Mary Beevor.1 He married Elizabeth Cholmeley, daughter of Sir Montague Cholmeley, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Harrison, on 5 August 1825 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, EnglandG.1 He died on 13 October 1842 at age 54 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, EnglandG.1
He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 29 January 1807.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Great Bedwyn from March 1818 to 1832.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Buxton, of Shadwell Lodge, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1800] on 7 June 1839.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Norfolk in 1841.1
