     He fought in the Second World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Leicestershire Yeomanry (Territorial Army.)¹

     Claud Edward Pease was born on 27 November 1874.² He was the son of Arthur Pease and Mary Lecky Pike.² He married Lucy Victoria Browne-Clayton, daughter of William Clayton Browne-Clayton and Caroline Barton, on 12 December 1901.² He died on 22 March 1952 at age 77.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Army.² He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1896 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.² He was director of Barclays Bank.²

     Julia Victoria Pease was born on 22 January 1910.² She was the daughter of Claud Edward Pease and Lucy Victoria Browne-Clayton.³ She married Peter Stapleton Buxton, son of Colonel Geoffrey Charles Buxton and Clare Florence Mary Stapleton, on 15 September 1934.¹ She died on 23 July 2007 at age 97 at Gainford, County Durham, England.²
     From 15 September 1934, her married name became Buxton. She lived in 2003 at 2 Academy Gardens, Gainford, Darlington, County Durham, England^G.¹

     James Geoffrey Pease Buxton was born on 24 October 1939.¹ He was the son of Peter Stapleton Buxton and Julia Victoria Pease.² He married Meriel Jessica Cowen, daughter of Major Denis Joseph Cowen and Hilda Yvette Cowen, in 1970.¹ He died on 18 August 2021 at age 81.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at Springfield Farm, Smeeton Westerby, Leicestershire, England^G.¹

     Major Denis Joseph Cowen was born on 27 March 1908.² He married Hilda Yvette Cowen in 1940 at Marylebone, London, England.² He died in April 1986 at age 78 at Leicestershire, England.²

     Meriel Jessica Cowen was born on 4 April 1947 at St. Matthew’s Nursing Home, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England.² She is the daughter of Major Denis Joseph Cowen and Hilda Yvette Cowen.^3,2 She married James Geoffrey Pease Buxton, son of Peter Stapleton Buxton and Julia Victoria Pease, in 1970.¹
     From 1970, her married name became Buxton.

     Hugh David Buxton was born in 1975.¹ He is the son of James Geoffrey Pease Buxton and Meriel Jessica Cowen.² He married Stacey L. Smith.³

     Rose Emma Buxton was born in 1973.¹ She is the daughter of James Geoffrey Pease Buxton and Meriel Jessica Cowen.²
