     Sir John Button, 4th Bt. was born after 1622.¹ He was the son of Sir William Button, 1st Bt. and Ruth Dunch.¹ He married, firstly, unknown Norton.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Bennet, daughter of Thomas Bennet.¹ He died on 29 November 1712, without issue.¹ He was buried at Wroughton, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ His will (dated 30 September 1707 to 5 April 1711) was proven (by probate) on 16 December 1713.¹
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Button, of Alton, co. Wilts. [E., 1622] circa 1679.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     She was educated at Benenden School, Cranbrook, Kent, England^G.¹ She was educated at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ From 1983, her married name became Walker. She was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 2003.³ She lived in 2003 at 24 Old Park Avenue, London, England^G.¹ She was chief executive of Healthcare Commission in 2004.³

     Timothy Edward Hanson Walker married Hon. Anna Elizabeth Blackstock Butterworth, daughter of John Blackstock Butterworth, Baron Butterworth and Doris Crawford Elder, in 1983.¹
