     Circa 1858 she was a survivor of the Siege of Lucknow.¹ From 31 December 1869, her married name became Maynard.¹ From 19 January 1892, her married name became Long.¹

     Colonel Francis Newland Martin Maynard married Blanche Kavanagh, daughter of Thomas Henry Kavanagh, V.C., on 31 December 1869 at Lucknow, India^G.¹ He died on 16 October 1890.¹

     Thomas Henry Kavanagh, V.C. was born on 15 July 1821 at Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland^G.¹ He died on 13 November 1882 at age 61 at Gibraltar^G.¹ He was buried at North Front Cemetery, Gibraltar.¹
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service.² He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) on 8 July 1859, for his actions on 12 November 1857.²

     Georgina Eleanor Long was born in 1821 at Corhampton, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Walter Long and Lady Mary Carnegie.¹ She married Richard Bowden Smith on 9 August 1849 at Corhampton Church, Corhampton, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She died in 1906.¹
