Edmund Pierce Butler, son of Lt.-Col. Walter Selby Butler and Alice Lucy Fowler, on 27 October 1948.¹ She died on 18 September 1963.¹
     From 1929, her married name became Eyre.¹ From 27 October 1948, her married name became Butler.

     Vivienne Tilla Butler is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Walter Selby Butler and Alice Lucy Fowler.^2,1 She married Kenneth Cookson, son of Norman Cookson, on 26 November 1913.¹

     Lt.-Col. Edward Tufnell was born on 13 June 1848 at Chelsea, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Edward Carleton Tufnell and Honoria Mary McAdam.² He married Ellen Bertha Gubbins, daughter of Reverend Richard Shard Gubbins and Ellen Rolls, on 9 July 1891 at Kensington, London, England^G.^1,2 He died on 15 August 1909 at age 61 at Crowhurst Park, Battle, Sussex, England^G.¹

     F/O. Christopher Cookson was born on 6 October 1917.¹ He was the son of Kenneth Cookson and Vivienne Tilla Butler.¹ He died on 23 July 1941 at age 23, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹

     Thomas Julian Barclay married Elizabeth Julia Cookson, daughter of John Butler Cookson and Adene Leona Brady, on 14 June 1975.¹

     Antonia Elizabeth Barclay was born on 14 February 1981.¹ She is the daughter of Thomas Julian Barclay and Elizabeth Julia Cookson.¹

     Christopher Alexander Kenneth Cookson was born in 1954.¹ He is the son of John Butler Cookson and Adene Leona Brady.² He married Camilla Margaret Hardy, daughter of Colonel Evan Michael Pierce Hardy and Elizabeth Bucher, on 25 October 1986.³

     Elizabeth Julia Cookson was born in 1953.¹ She is the daughter of John Butler Cookson and Adene Leona Brady.² She married Thomas Julian Barclay on 14 June 1975.³
     From 14 June 1975, her married name became Barclay.³

     Alice Long was born on 17 February 1814 at Hampshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Walter Long and Lady Mary Carnegie.¹ She was baptised on 3 April 1814 at Cheriton, Hampshire, England^G.¹ She died in 1815.¹ She was buried on 7 January 1815 at Corhampton, Hampshire, England^G.¹
