Eliza Stevenson was the daughter of Reverend Joseph Stevenson.2 She married, firstly, Arthur Beresford Cane, son of Richard Cave and Isabella Dawson, before 1864.1 She married, secondly, Antoine Sloet Butler, son of Sir Thomas Butler, 8th Bt. and Frances Graham-Clarke, on 29 April 1875.1 She died on 3 December 1914.1
