     Margaret Brocklesby Davis was born in 1853 at Torquay, Devon, England^G.² She was the daughter of Reverend Weston Brocklesby Davis.¹ She married Richard Godolphin Walmesley Chaloner, 1st Baron Gisborough, son of Richard Penruddocke Long and Charlotte Anna Hume, on 18 November 1882.¹ She died on 27 August 1941 at Bowbrook House, Pershore, Worcestershire, England^G.^1,2
     From 18 November 1882, her married name became Chaloner.¹ After her marriage, Margaret Brocklesby Davis was styled as Baroness Gisborough on 23 June 1917.

     Richard Godolphin Hume Chaloner was born on 29 June 1883 at Marylebone, London, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Richard Godolphin Walmesley Chaloner, 1st Baron Gisborough and Margaret Brocklesby Davis.¹ He married Evelyn Maud Benyon, daughter of Augustus William Benyon, on 9 June 1914 at St. James Church, Piccadilly, London, England^G.^1,2 He died on 3 April 1917 at age 33 at France^G, killed while on active service.¹
     He fought in the Boer War.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the North Riding, Yorkshire.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 3rd Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment.¹

     Evelyn Maud Benyon is the daughter of Augustus William Benyon.¹ She married, firstly, Richard Godolphin Hume Chaloner, son of Richard Godolphin Walmesley Chaloner, 1st Baron Gisborough and Margaret Brocklesby Davis, on 9 June 1914 at St. James Church, Piccadilly, London, England^G.^1,2 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John Clement Wolstan Francis, son of Wolstan Francis, on 1 May 1918.¹
     From 9 June 1914, her married name became Chaloner.¹ On 29 September 1917 she was granted the rank of a wife of a baron’s eldest son.¹ From 1 May 1918, her married name became Francis.¹ She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cambridgeshire in 1947.¹

     Augustus William Benyon lived at Ashe, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. John Clement Wolstan Francis was the son of Wolstan Francis.¹ He married Evelyn Maud Benyon, daughter of Augustus William Benyon, on 1 May 1918.¹ He died in 1973.¹
     He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 15th/19th Hussars.¹

     Diana Margaret Bruce Chaloner was born on 5 September 1915 at Buckinghamgate Street, London, England.³ She was the daughter of Richard Godolphin Hume Chaloner and Evelyn Maud Benyon.¹ She married Ian Melville Wright, son of Reverend Jabez H. Wright, on 1 May 1948.¹ She died after 1973.³
     From 1 May 1948, her married name became Wright.¹

     Ian Melville Wright was born on 20 June 1906.² He was the son of Reverend Jabez H. Wright.¹ He married Diana Margaret Bruce Chaloner, daughter of Richard Godolphin Hume Chaloner and Evelyn Maud Benyon, on 1 May 1948.¹ He died in 1971.¹
