     Bertha Ellen Morse was born on 5 December 1865 at Nelson, New Zealand^G.¹ She was the daughter of Nathaniel George Morse and Ellen Wrey.¹

     Alfred Wrey Morse was born on 18 August 1869 at Nelson, New Zealand^G.¹ She was the daughter of Nathaniel George Morse and Ellen Wrey.¹

     John Walter Hawkesworth was born on 13 February 1839 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ He was the son of John Hawkesworth and Florentina Walmesley.¹ He married Eliza Madeline Florence Dowler, daughter of Reverend Henry Turnour Dowler and Frances Harriet Emma Dickenson, on 7 August 1865 at Aldeburgh Church, Aldeburgh, Suffolk, England.² He died on 30 January 1898 at age 58 at Fovant, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He was buried on 5 February 1898 at Fovant, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Eliza Madeline Florence Dowler was baptised on 31 August 1842 at Aldeburgh, Suffolk, England.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Turnour Dowler and Frances Harriet Emma Dickenson.¹ She married John Walter Hawkesworth, son of John Hawkesworth and Florentina Walmesley, on 7 August 1865 at Aldeburgh Church, Aldeburgh, Suffolk, England.¹
     From 7 August 1865, her married name became Hawkesworth.²

     Florentina Hawkesworth was the daughter of John Hawkesworth and Florentina Walmesley.¹ She died on 29 July 1841.¹

     John Walmesley was born in July 1861 at Chelsea, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Richard Walmesley and Anne Eliza Donaldson.¹ He married, firstly, Violet Louisa Haworth-Booth, daughter of Benjamin Blaydes Haworth-Booth and Cordelia Wintour, on 4 December 1889 at St. Johns Church, Newlands, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He and Violet Louisa Haworth-Booth were divorced in 1893.¹ He married, secondly, Claudia Borzenko on 31 March 1926 at Paris, France^G.¹ He died on 9 January 1937 at age 75 at Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Île-de-France, France^G.¹
     He held the office of High Sheriff of Wiltshire in 1909.¹

     Violet Louisa Haworth-Booth was born in 1866 at Bridlington, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Blaydes Haworth-Booth and Cordelia Wintour.² She married, firstly, John Walmesley, son of Richard Walmesley and Anne Eliza Donaldson, on 4 December 1889 at St. Johns Church, Newlands, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ She and John Walmesley were divorced in 1893.¹ She married, secondly, Admiral Arthur Wartensieben Ewart, son of General Sir John Alexander Ewart of Craigcleuch, on 22 September 1903.² She died on 29 January 1950 at Balcombe, Sussex, England^G.¹ She was buried on 1 February 1950 at Balcombe, Sussex, England^G.¹
     From 4 December 1889, her married name became Walmesley.¹ From 22 September 1903, her married name became Ewart.²
