     Sir William Douglas of Glenbervie, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir William Douglas of Glenbervie, 1st Bt. and Janet Irvine.2 He married Anne Douglas, daughter of James Douglas.2 He died before 11 January 1688.2 His will was proven (by probate) on 11 January 1688.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Douglas, of Glenbervie, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1625] after 1653.2

     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Forbes, of Monymusk, Aberdeenshire [N.S., 1626].3
