     William Daly was born illegitimately on 17 December 1850.² He was the son of Denis St. George Daly, 2nd Baron Dunsandle and Clanconal and Mary Broderick.³ He married Julia Catherine Anne Burke, daughter of Sir Thomas John Burke, 3rd Bt. and Lady Mary Frances Nugent, on 16 August 1893.¹ He died on 27 December 1910 at age 60.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Tipperary.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Galway in 1901.³ He lived at Dunsandle, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Thomastown Castle, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.²

     Mary Clare Theresa Burke was the daughter of Sir Thomas John Burke, 3rd Bt. and Lady Mary Frances Nugent.¹ She married John James Smyth on 7 August 1894.¹ She died on 17 March 1913, leaving issue.¹
     From 7 August 1894, her married name became Smyth.

     John James Smyth married Mary Clare Theresa Burke, daughter of Sir Thomas John Burke, 3rd Bt. and Lady Mary Frances Nugent, on 7 August 1894.¹ He died on 24 February 1933.¹
     He lived at Masonbrook, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Honora Kelly is the daughter of Colonel John Kelly.¹ She married Sir Edmund Bourke, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Ulick Bourke, 1st Bt..¹
     Her married name became Bourke.¹

     Mary Netterville is the daughter of Nicholas Netterville and Cecilia Burke.¹ She married, firstly, Sir Edmund Bourke, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Ulick Bourke, 1st Bt., in April 1674.¹ She married, secondly, Roger O’Shagnesey after 1676.¹
     From April 1674, her married name became Bourke.¹ From after 1676, her married name became O’Shagnesey.¹

     Roger O’Shagnesey married Mary Netterville, daughter of Nicholas Netterville and Cecilia Burke, after 1676.¹
     He lived at Castlegar, Ahascragh, County Galway, Ireland^G.¹

     Sir Gerald Howe Burke, 7th Bt. was born on 17 November 1893.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Malachy Burke, 6th Bt. and Catherine Mary Caroline Burke.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Mary Mathews, daughter of Patrick Mathews, on 23 December 1914.¹ He married, secondly, Merrial Alison Christie, daughter of Edward Christie, on 26 May 1920.¹ He died on 30 December 1954 at age 61.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Burke, of Marble Hill, co. Galway [I., 1797] on 19 December 1913.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Irish Guards.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded twice.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp between 1919 and 1921.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Galway.¹

     Patrick Mathews lived at Mount Hanover, Drogheda, County Meath, Ireland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Mary Mathews was the daughter of Patrick Mathews.¹ She married Sir Gerald Howe Burke, 7th Bt., son of Sir Thomas Malachy Burke, 6th Bt. and Catherine Mary Caroline Burke, on 23 December 1914.¹ She died on 27 June 1918.¹
     From 23 December 1914, her married name became Burke.

     Sir Thomas Stanley Burke, 8th Bt. was born on 20 July 1916.¹ He was the son of Sir Gerald Howe Burke, 7th Bt. and Elizabeth Mary Mathews.¹ He married Suzanne Margarete Salvisberg, daughter of Otto Theodor Salvisberg, on 17 August 1955.¹ He died in 1989.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Burke, of Marble Hill, co. Galway [I., 1797] on 30 December 1954.¹
