Middlesex [U.K., 1916] on 31 May 1917.1 He was awarded the Cross of Romania.1 He was awarded the Commander, Order of Leopold of Belgium.1 He was chairman of Harrods Ltd, London.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.1 He was president of the Incorporated Association of Retail Distributors in 1928.1

Middlesex [U.K., 1916] on 3 June 1945.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1946.1
