     David Jardine was born in 1780.¹ He was the son of Andrew Jardine.² He married Rachel Johnstone, daughter of William Johnstone, on 8 February 1806.¹ He died on 22 October 1827.¹

     Rachel Johnstone was the daughter of William Johnstone.¹ She married David Jardine, son of Andrew Jardine, on 8 February 1806.¹ She died on 10 September 1860.¹

     James Jardine was born on 17 March 1816.¹ He was the son of David Jardine and Rachel Johnstone.¹ He married Jessie Johnstone, daughter of William Johnstone, on 27 April 1846.¹ He died on 14 July 1893 at age 77.¹
