     Anna Dundas was the daughter of Sir William Dundas of Kincavel and Margaret Edmonston.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col. Hon. John Edmund Erskine, son of David Erskine, 2nd Lord Cardross and Mary Bruce, on 5 January 1691.¹ She died on 29 June 1723.¹
     From 5 January 1691, her married name became Erskine.

     John Erskine was born on 4 November 1695.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Hon. John Edmund Erskine and Anna Dundas.² He married, firstly, Margaret Melville, daughter of James Melville, in March 1719.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Stirling, daughter of James Stirling, 10th of Keir and 7th of Cadder and Marion Stewart, in 1729.¹ He died on 1 March 1768 at age 72.¹
     He wrote the book Institutes of the Law of Scotland.³ He lived at Cardross, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.² He lived at Carnock, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     James Melville is the son of George Melville, 1st Earl of Melville and Catharine Leslie.²
     He lived at Balgarvie, Fife, Scotland^G.²

     Margaret Melville was the daughter of James Melville.² She married John Erskine, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. John Edmund Erskine and Anna Dundas, in March 1719.¹ She died on 1 March 1768.³
     From March 1719, her married name became Erskine.

     Reverend John Erskine was born on 2 June 1719.¹ He was the son of John Erskine and Margaret Melville.¹ He married Hon. Christian Mackay, daughter of George Mackay, 3rd Lord Reay and Mary Dowell, on 15 June 1746.¹ He died on 19 January 1803 at age 83.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He lived at Carnock, Fife, Scotland^G.¹
     He had a son and three other daughters.¹

     George Mackay, 3rd Lord Reay was born in 1678.² He was the son of Donald Mackay, Master of Reay and Anne Munro.² He married, secondly, Janet Sinclair, daughter of John Sinclair of Ulbster and Jean Munro.² He married, firstly, Margaret Mackay, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Hugh Mackay of Scourie and Clara van Bie, circa December 1702.² He married, thirdly, Mary Dowell, daughter of John Dowell of Thuster, on 11 August 1713.² He died on 21 March 1748.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Reay, of Reay, co. Caithness [S., 1628] after 1680.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Mackay [N.S., 1627] after 1680.² He was educated at The Netherlands.² He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1698.² He was He supported Government in the 1715 and 1745 Uprisings.²

     Hon. Christian Mackay was the daughter of George Mackay, 3rd Lord Reay and Mary Dowell.² She married Reverend John Erskine, son of John Erskine and Margaret Melville, on 15 June 1746.¹ She died on 20 May 1800.¹
     From 15 June 1746, her married name became Erskine.

     Andrew Buchan is the son of William Buchan.¹
     He lived at Oykhorn, Scotland^G.¹

     Elizabeth Mills was the daughter of John Mills.¹ She married Sir John Coryton, 1st Bt., son of William Coryton and Elizabeth Chichester, on 27 December 1643.¹ She died on 27 September 1677.¹
     From 27 December 1643, her married name became Coryton.¹

     Anne Stirling was the daughter of James Stirling, 10th of Keir and 7th of Cadder and Marion Stewart.¹ She married John Erskine, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. John Edmund Erskine and Anna Dundas, in 1729.¹
