     Sir Godfrey Dalrymple Dalrymple-White, 1st Bt. was born on 6 July 1866.¹ He was the son of General Sir Henry Dalrymple White and Alice Elizabeth Malcolm. He married Hon. Catherine Mary Cary, daughter of Lt.-Col. Byron Plantagenet Cary, 12th Viscount of Falkland and Mary Reade, on 3 June 1912.¹ He died on 1 April 1954 at age 87.¹
     He was given the name of Godfrey Dalrymple White at birth.¹ He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Ensign in 1885 in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to General Officer Commanding British North America between 1892 and 1893.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp to the General Officer Commanding Home District between 1899 and 1900.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Southport between 1910 and 1923.¹ He fought in the First World War, and was mentioned in despatches three times.¹ He was commander of the 5th (Reserve) Battalion, Grenadier Guards between 1914 and 1916.¹ He gained the rank of Brevet Lieutenant-Colonel in 1916.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Southport from 1924 to 1931.¹ On 9 July 1926 his name was legally changed to Godfrey Dalrymple Dalrymple-White by Deed Poll.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Dalrymple-White, of High Mark, Wigtownshire [U.K.] on 28 July 1926.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Zoological Society (F.Z.S.)¹ He held the office of Governor of Wellington College in 1936.¹

     Caroline Louise Wills was born on 21 January 1931.² She was the daughter of Sir Gerald Wills and Amy Mary Louise Peters.^1,2 She married Major Francis James Johnston, son of Francis Benjamin Johnston, on 1 November 1952.² She died on 21 October 1974 at age 43.²
     She was educated at Hatherop Castle School, Gloucestershire, England.² From 1 November 1952, her married name became Johnston.¹

     Hon. Catherine Mary Cary was the daughter of Lt.-Col.      Sir Henry Arthur Dalrymple Dalrymple-White, 2nd Bt. was born on 5 November 1917.¹ He was the son of Sir Godfrey Dalrymple Dalrymple-White, 1st Bt. and Hon. Catherine Mary Cary.¹ He married Mary Thomas, daughter of Captain Robert Henry Cunliffe Thomas and Cynthia Sandford, on 17 September 1948.¹ He and Mary Thomas were divorced in 1956.¹ He died on 30 June 2006 at age 88 at Nairobi, Kenya^G.²

     Merial Catherine Dalrymple Dalrymple-White was born on 14 November 1913.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Godfrey Dalrymple Dalrymple-White, 1st Bt. and Hon. Catherine Mary Cary.¹ She married Lt.-Col. William Reeve, son of Captain John Sherard Reeve and Sybil Christine Oldfield, on 15 April 1936.¹ She died on 25 February 1989 at age 75.¹
     From 15 April 1936, her married name became Reeve.

     Captain John Sherard Reeve was born in 1872 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. John Reeve and Edith Anne Dundas.³ He married Sybil Christine Oldfield, daughter of Captain Christopher Campbell Oldfield and Edith Frances Sheridan Guinness, on 7 June 1900.³ He died on 20 April 1955.³
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)³ He lived at Leadenham, Lincolnshire, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. William Reeve was born on 18 May 1906.² He was the son of Captain John Sherard Reeve and Sybil Christine Oldfield.^1,2 He married Merial Catherine Dalrymple Dalrymple-White, daughter of Sir Godfrey Dalrymple Dalrymple-White, 1st Bt. and Hon. Catherine Mary Cary, on 15 April 1936.¹ He died on 11 January 1993 at age 86.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1947 in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lincolnshire.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Lincolnshire in 1950.² He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1957.² He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)²

     John Reeve was born on 12 January 1937.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. William Reeve and Merial Catherine Dalrymple Dalrymple-White.^1,2 He married, firstly, Penelope Anne Boxer, daughter of Air Vice-Marshal Alan Hunter Cachemaille Boxer, on 25 April 1964.¹ He and Penelope Anne Boxer were divorced in 1972.¹ He married, secondly, Priscilla Ruth Hardingham, daughter of John Hardingham, on 26 June 1973.¹ He and Priscilla Ruth Hardingham were divorced in 1982.¹ He married, thirdly, Esmé Jane Briggs, daughter of William Francis Egginton Briggs, on 8 August 1988.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 2003 at West Chase, Bowerchalke, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England^G.²
