Geoffrey Benedict Clifton-Brown and Robina Margaret Hill Sutton.¹ She married Patrick Bury Buchanan, son of Colonel Edmund Pullar Buchanan and Doreen Marguerite Bury, on 8 October 1955.¹ She died on 10 December 1955 at age 23, following a car crash.¹
     From 8 October 1955, her married name became Buchanan.¹

     Patrick Bury Buchanan is the son of Colonel Edmund Pullar Buchanan and Doreen Marguerite Bury.^1,2 He married Margaret Winifred Clifton-Brown, daughter of Lt.-Col. Geoffrey Benedict Clifton-Brown and Robina Margaret Hill Sutton, on 8 October 1955.¹

     Colonel Edmund Pullar Buchanan is the son of Charles Alexander Buchanan. He married Doreen Marguerite Bury, daughter of Charles Arthur Bury and Maud M. McEmery.²
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹ He lived at Touch, Stirlingshire, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.¹

     Anthony George Clifton-Brown was born on 11 February 1903.¹ He was the son of Edward Clifton-Brown and Dora Winifred Hanbury.¹ He married, firstly, Delia Charlotte Gordon Wade, daughter of George Edward Wade and Eleanor Agatha MacIntyre, on 20 February 1930.¹ He married, secondly, Phyllis Adrienne Bridget Harvey, daughter of Francis Harvey, on 16 February 1949.¹ He died on 9 February 1984 at age 80.^1,2

     Delia Charlotte Gordon Wade was born in 1903 at London, England.² She was the daughter of George Edward Wade and Eleanor Agatha MacIntyre.^1,2 She married Anthony George Clifton-Brown, son of Edward Clifton-Brown and Dora Winifred Hanbury, on 20 February 1930.¹ She died on 16 May 1947.¹
     From 20 February 1930, her married name became Clifton-Brown.¹

     George Edward Wade was born in 1853.² He was the son of Reverend Nugent Wade and Louisa Fenwick.³ He married Eleanor Agatha MacIntyre, daughter of Lt.-Gen. John MacKenzie MacIntyre and Marianne Margaret Shaw, on 17 January 1889 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.⁴ He died on 5 February 1933 at 30 Hyde Park Street, London, England.²

     Georgiana Elmira Clifton-Brown was born on 27 December 1934.¹ She is the daughter of Anthony George Clifton-Brown and Delia Charlotte Gordon Wade.¹ She married Professor Anthony Charles Bailey, son of Hugh Somerville Bailey, on 7 September 1962.¹
