     Brigadier John Gerhard Edward Tiarks was born on 28 December 1896.¹ He was the son of John Gerhard Tiarks and Ada Constance Helen Harington.¹ He married Evelyn Florence Cripps, daughter of Percy Roland Cripps and Mary Howard Tripp, on 1 June 1922. He died on 27 November 1962 at age 65, killed while hunting with the Berkeley.¹
     He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George VI between 1947 and 1950.²

     John Gerhard Tiarks was born on 12 March 1867.¹ He was the son of Reverend John Gerhard Tiarks and Anne Condron.¹ He married Ada Constance Helen Harington, daughter of Reverend Edward Templer Harington and Ada Drew, on 6 February 1895. He died on 21 August 1901 at age 34.¹

     Reverend John Gerhard Tiarks was born on 17 August 1831.¹ He was the son of Rev. Dr. Johann Gerhard Tiarks and Emily Phipps.¹ He married Anne Condron, daughter of Charles Condron, on 1 January 1863. He died on 24 December 1902 at age 71.¹

     Rev. Dr. Johann Gerhard Tiarks was born on 17 December 1794.¹ He was the son of Reverend Johann Gerhard Tiarks and Catherina Dorothea Ehrentraut.¹ He married Emily Phipps, daughter of Josiah Phipps, on 20 October 1825. He died on 8 March 1858 at age 63.¹
     He graduated from University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Baden-Württemburg, Germany, with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)¹

     Reverend Johann Gerhard Tiarks was born on 30 June 1761.¹ He married Catherina Dorothea Ehrentraut, daughter of Johann Ludwig Ehrentraut and Anke Katherine Minssen, on 16 October 1788.¹ He died on 7 January 1813 at age 51.¹

     Evelyn Florence Cripps was born on 18 January 1899 at Winford, Somerset, England^G.³ She was the daughter of Percy Roland Cripps and Mary Howard Tripp.¹ She married Brigadier John Gerhard Edward Tiarks, son of John Gerhard Tiarks and Ada Constance Helen Harington, on 1 June 1922.
     From 1 June 1922, her married name became Tiarks.¹

     Percy Roland Cripps was born on 9 October 1860 at Winford Manor, Somerset, England^G.² He married Mary Howard Tripp, daughter of Reverend Henry Tripp and Anne Gould, on 20 October 1886.³ He died on 25 September 1905 at age 44.³ He was also reported to have died on 23 September 1905 at Horsfield, Bristol, England^G.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)⁴ He lived at Winford Manor, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Mary Howard Tripp was born on 9 January 1860 at Winford, Somerset, England^G.² She was the daughter of Reverend Henry Tripp and Anne Gould.^1,3 She married Percy Roland Cripps on 20 October 1886.⁴ She died on 30 April 1900 at age 40.⁴ She was also reported to have died on 20 May 1900 at Winford Manor, Somerset, England^G.²
     From 20 October 1886, her married name became Cripps.¹

     Reverend Henry Tripp was born on 6 April 1816.² He was the son of Reverend Charles Tripp and Frances Owen.² He married Anne Gould, daughter of Reverend James Gould, on 25 June 1857. He died on 15 March 1897 at age 80.²
     He was the Rector at Winford, Gloucestershire, England^G.²

     Ada Constance Helen Harington was born circa 1866.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Edward Templer Harington and Ada Drew.^1,2 She married John Gerhard Tiarks, son of Reverend John Gerhard Tiarks and Anne Condron, on 6 February 1895. She died on 1 March 1960.¹
     From 6 February 1895, her married name became Tiarks.¹
