     Dorothea Burleigh was the daughter of Hercules Burleigh.¹ She married Sir James O’Hara Brown, 2nd Bt., son of Colonel James Brown and Catharine Cibber, on 4 June 1759 at St. Mary’s Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹ She died on 30 May 1794 at Knightsbridge, London, England^G, murdered by her lunatic son, William.¹
     From 4 June 1759, her married name became Brown.¹

     Hercules Burleigh was siege of Derry of the where he commanded a company for King William III.¹

     Sir William Augustus Brown, 3rd Bt. was born on 23 May 1764.¹ He was the son of Sir James O’Hara Brown, 2nd Bt. and Dorothea Burleigh.¹ He was baptised on 12 July 1764 at St. Paul’s Church, Covent Gardens, London, England^G.¹ He died on 20 October 1830 at age 66 at Little Chelsea, London, England^G, unmarried.¹ He died intestate and his estate was administered in December 1830.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 67th Foot.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 101st Foot.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Brown, of the city of Westminster [G.B., 1732] on 21 April 1784.¹ Circa 1790 he became insane.¹ On 30 May 1794 he murdered his mother.¹
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.¹

     William Brown was born in 1715 at Cairnkirn, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹ He married Margaret Davison, daughter of John Davison, on 19 November 1745.¹ He died on 26 January 1778.¹

     Margaret Davison was the daughter of John Davison.¹ She married William Brown on 19 November 1745.¹ She died on 2 January 1805.¹
     From 19 November 1745, her married name became Brown.¹

     John Davison lived at Knockboy, County Antrim, Ireland^G.¹

     John Brown was born on 21 July 1753.¹ He was the son of William Brown and Margaret Davison.¹ He died in 1836.¹
     He was given the name of Patrick Brown at birth.¹ He was an insurance broker at London, England^G.¹

     Alexander Brown was born on 17 November 1764 at Carnlough Road, Broughshane, County Antrim, Ireland^G.² He was the son of William Brown and Margaret Davison.¹ He married Grace Davison, daughter of John Davison, on 17 June 1783 at Ballymena, County Antrim, Ireland^G.² He died on 3 March 1834 at age 69 at Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.^G.³
     He emigrated to U.S.A.^G arriving on 1799.³

     Stewart Brown was born on 2 July 1769.¹ He was the son of William Brown and Margaret Davison.¹ He married Sarah Harman on 18 April 1797.¹
     He emigrated to Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.^G, arriving on 1796.¹

     Sarah Harman married Stewart Brown, son of William Brown and Margaret Davison, on 18 April 1797.¹ She died on 23 August 1811.¹
     From 18 April 1797, her married name became Brown.¹
