William Rutherford Benn1
William Rutherford Benn is the son of Reverend Julius Benn and Ann Taylor.1
He suffered from mental illness for many years.3 He was also known as William Rutherford.3 He murdered Reverend Julius Benn on 4 March 1883 at Matlock, Derbyshire, EnglandG, battered to death with a chamberpot.4,3 In 1904 he was re-admitted to Broadmoor.5
