     Sir Ian George Lorraine Critchett, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 December 1920 at London, England.^2,3 He was the son of Sir George Montague Critchett, 2nd Bt. and Innes Wiehe.² He married, firstly, Paulette Mary Lorraine Humfrey, daughter of Colonel Henry Brabazon Humfrey, on 9 October 1948.² He married, secondly, Jocelyn Daphne Margaret Hall, daughter of Commander Christopher Mildmay Hall and Agnes Laura Margret Broughton, on 10 February 1964.² He died on 19 June 2004 at age 83 at Surrey, England.³
