     Thomas Delves Broughton was born on 21 July 1778 at Broughton Hall, Broughton, Staffordshire, England^G.² He was the son of Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton, 6th Bt. and Mary Wicker.¹ He was baptised on 26 August 1778.¹ He married Elizabeth Hester Rowlls Legh, daughter of John Rowlls Legh, on 28 March 1800.¹ He died on 24 January 1846 at age 67.¹

     Elizabeth Hester Rowlls Legh was the daughter of John Rowlls Legh.¹ She married Thomas Delves Broughton, son of Rev. Sir Thomas Broughton, 6th Bt. and Mary Wicker, on 28 March 1800.¹ She died on 15 November 1821.¹
     From 28 March 1800, her married name became Broughton.¹

     John Rowlls Legh lived at Adlington Hall, Cheshire, England^G.¹

     Reverend Thomas Delves Broughton was born on 18 February 1801.¹ He was the son of Thomas Delves Broughton and Elizabeth Hester Rowlls Legh.¹ He married Frances Corkran, daughter of Lewis Corkran and Harriet Arbuthnot, on 2 April 1834.¹ He died on 10 August 1859 at age 58.¹
     He was the Rector at Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Frances Corkran is the daughter of Lewis Corkran and Harriet Arbuthnot.^1,2 She married Reverend Thomas Delves Broughton, son of Thomas Delves Broughton and Elizabeth Hester Rowlls Legh, on 2 April 1834.¹
     From 2 April 1834, her married name became Broughton.¹

     Lewis Corkran was born circa 1755.² He was the son of Lewis Corkran.² He married, secondly, Harriet Arbuthnot, daughter of John Arbuthnot and Anne Stone, in 1797.² He died circa 28 January 1837.² He was buried on 30 January 1837 at St. Mary’s Church, Long Ditton, Surrey, England^G.²
     He held the office of Member of the Council of Bombay.¹

     Vernon Delves Broughton was born on 6 December 1834.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas Delves Broughton and Frances Corkran.¹ He married Augusta Mary Anne Arbuthnot, daughter of George Arbuthnot, on 4 July 1861.¹ He died on 25 February 1886 at age 51.¹
     He was the Deputy Master at Royal Mint, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia^G.¹

     Augusta Mary Anne Arbuthnot was the daughter of George Arbuthnot.¹ She married Vernon Delves Broughton, son of Reverend Thomas Delves Broughton and Frances Corkran, on 4 July 1861.¹ She died on 6 December 1919.¹
     From 4 July 1861, her married name became Broughton.¹

     George Arbuthnot was born in 1802.² He was the son of General Sir Robert Arbuthnot and Susan Vesey.^2,3 He died in 1865.²

     Vernon Warburton Broughton was born on 25 November 1864.¹ He was the son of Vernon Delves Broughton and Augusta Mary Anne Arbuthnot.¹ He married Frangiski de Ponte, daughter of Epamenondas de Ponte, in 1899.¹ He died in 1937.¹
