     Patrick Brougham was born on 18 June 1819.¹ He was the son of John Waugh Brougham and Margaret Rigg.¹ He married Mary Kennedy, daughter of John Kennedy.¹

     James Rigg Brougham was born on 5 May 1826.¹ He was the son of John Waugh Brougham and Margaret Rigg.¹ He married Isabella Eliza Cropper, daughter of John Cropper and Anne Wakefield, on 4 October 1854.¹ He died on 5 March 1919 at age 92.¹
     He was Registrar of Bankruptcy Bank between 1848 and 1891.¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He was Senior Registrar of Bankruptcy Bank between 1891 and 1917.¹ He lived at Bridge House, Riverhead, Surrey, England^G.¹ He lived at Beathwaite, Milathorpe, Westmorland, England^G.¹
     He also had three other daughters.¹

     Isabella Eliza Cropper was born on 7 May 1835 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.² She was the daughter of John Cropper and Anne Wakefield.^1,3 She married James Rigg Brougham, son of John Waugh Brougham and Margaret Rigg, on 4 October 1854.¹ She died in 1926.¹ She was also reported to have died in 1921.²
     From 4 October 1854, her married name became Brougham.¹

     John Cropper was born on 8 June 1797.² He is the son of James Cropper and Mary Brinsdon.² He married Anne Wakefield, daughter of John Wakefield, on 11 January 1821 at Liverpool, Lancashire, England.^2,3 He died on 8 November 1874 at age 77.²
     He lived at Dingle Bank, Liverpool, Lancashire, England^G.⁴

     John Cropper Brougham was born on 2 February 1857.¹ He was the son of James Rigg Brougham and Isabella Eliza Cropper.¹ He married Ursula Harriet Mary Chamberlain, daughter of Henry Orlando Chamberlain, 3rd Bt. and Marion Wilson, on 26 January 1882.¹
     He lived at Elmwood, Hackbridge, Surrey, England^G.¹
