     Captain Thomas Wallace was born on 19 March 1729.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Wallace of Craigie and Eleanora Agnew.¹ He died on 9 October 1755 at age 26.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.¹

     Lieutenant John Wallace-Dunlop was born circa 1763.¹ He was the son of John Dunlop, 19th of that Ilk and Frances Anna Wallace.¹ He married Magdalene Frances Dunlop, daughter of Captain Robert Dunlop and Magdalene Dunlop, after 9 September 1787.¹ He died circa 1831.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 89th Foot Regiment.¹

     Antony Wallace-Dunlop was born on 11 November 1766 at Dunlop House, Dunlop, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of John Dunlop, 19th of that Ilk and Frances Anna Wallace.¹ He married Anne Cunningham, daughter of Alexander Cunningham of Robertland, younger and Sarah Reid, on 31 August 1804.¹ He died on 28 June 1829 at age 62 at Black Bull Hotel, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G, by committing suicide, after falling into financial difficulties.¹
     Circa 1778 he joined the merchant navy.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the Royal Navy.¹
     He purchased the small estate of Ellerslie on the Isle of Man.¹

     Sonia Moore-Gwyn is the daughter of Major Joseph Gwyn Moore-Gwyn.¹ She married Rear-Admiral Gordon Thomas Seccombe Gray.²
     Her married name became Gray.²

     Samuel Brougham is the son of Henry Brougham and Elizabeth Lamplugh.¹

     Henry Brougham is the son of Thomas Brougham and Mary Fleming.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Lamplugh, daughter of Colonel John Lamplugh, 24th of Lamplugh.
     He lived at Scales Hall, Cumberland, England^G.¹
     He had two sons and another daughter by his first wife, and two other sons and two daughters by his second wife.¹

     Thomas Brougham is the son of Henry Brougham and Catherine Fallowfield.¹ He married Mary Fleming, daughter of Daniel Fleming.
     He had five other sons and two daughters.¹ He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland.¹ He lived at Scales Hall, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Henry Brougham was the son of Peter Brougham and Anne Southaic.¹ He married, firstly, Jane Wharton, daughter of John Wharton.¹ He married, secondly, Catherine Fallowfield, daughter of Thomas Fallowfield.¹ He died in 1622.¹
     He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland.¹ He lived at Scales Hall, Cumberland, England^G.¹ He lived at Blackhall, Cumberland, England^G.¹

     Peter Brougham was the son of Thomas Burgham and Jane Vaux.¹ He married Anne Southaic, daughter of John Southaic. He died in 1570.¹
